At the first round of the Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Sergio Garcia was re-acquainted with a stalwart PGA course, and a few of Florida’s favorite citizens. Garcia seemed more than a bit terrified of the alligators lurking near where his ball landed, but if faced with a similar situation, I’m sure we’d all be feeling the same way, right?
Garcia’s drive on the sixth hole went a bit left and ended up in some shallow waters not deep enough for a penalty. He rolled up his (leg) sleeves, stepped in, and continued on like nothing had changed, but an eager fan wanted to see his shot up close and personal.
"I was more worried about the alligator that was on the other side of the island than getting out of the water." https://t.co/AOk5nBMO77

You have to enjoy first how the announcers are scared for Sergio since an alligator sees Spanish heels for lunch, but then “you have improved your situation”. Any situation in which alligators are not thinking about how to turn you into lunch is an improving situation.
For the record, Garcia bogeyed that hole, but still had a share of the lead after the first round. His new set of driver covers are all going to be gator skin now, aren’t they?
