All the build up. All the hoopla. All the anticipation. One punch.

Have you heard the expression “the fight was over before it started?” Well that was almost literally the case when Conor McGregor knocked Jose Aldo out with one punch. The 13-second victory is a record for UFC title fights, but even that felt long for a fight that went: kick, dance, dance, block, punch, fall, over. (Note: those may not be scientific terms there.)
Here is what UFC President Dana White had to say about the fight. He told UFC.com he expected the fight “to be like Hagler-Hearns.” No, you aren’t getting your money back.
