Four-time NBA Champion Draymond Green is not usually shy about giving his opinion to the world, no matter how unpopular it may be, and this week the Golden State Warriors star unleashed an absolutely ridiculous take on the NBA world regarding his 2017 Warriors team and the 1998 Chicago Bulls.
Green took to Twitter randomly on Sunday night to claim that his 2017 Warriors team would have beaten Michael Jordan’s legendary 1998 Bulls team with ease. And while he was at it, he claimed superiority to the 1998 Utah Jazz as well as the 1996 Bulls.

Green followed that Tweet with another that ironically called for people to “stop the unnecessary debating.”

The 2017 Warriors were one of the more dominant teams in NBA history, breaking several NBA regular season and postseason records. But the 1998 Bulls are widely considered one of, if not the best NBA team of all time. It probably wouldn’t be a stretch to say Golden State could have won, but Green’s suggestion that the Warriors would have dominated Chicago did not sit well with the NBA world, which had plenty to say of Green’s outlandish claim.

The NBA fans and media personalities aren’t quite as confident that the 2017 Defensive Player of the Year would handle Jordan and Dennis Rodman nearly as well as he thinks he would, with one Tweet even saying “Dennis Rodman would have put you in a bodybag.”
Well, he certainly gave the sports world something to talk about.
