Ex-Ole Miss linebacker Denzel Nkemdiche, brother of Robert, has reportedly been hospitalized, according to WAPT of Jackson, Mississippi. The Clarion-Ledger would follow up on that report with details that Denzel was found unresponsive.
Initially, it was not known which Nkemdiche brother was hospitalized, but NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport would later confirm that it was in fact Denzel.
It's Denzel, not Robert. https://t.co/zFCVn2FJJC

He was taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center, and Ridgeland Chief John Neal told the Clarion-Ledger that, “No law enforcement action taken and there is no criminal investigation at this time.”
Denzel was hospitalized last month as well for reasons that were never disclosed. The only information stemming from the situation in November came from the following statement by the university:
“His well-being is all that matters right now, and we are making sure he receives the highest level of medical care. While his condition is not life-threatening, he will not play this weekend. We thank the Ole Miss family for their concern and encouragement, and we appreciate everyone respecting the family’s privacy during this time.”
Robert was suspended for the Rebels’ game in the Sugar Bowl for a recent marijuana charge, and declared for the NFL Draft, effectively ending his college career.
