The Houston Cougars had an impressive season as head coach Tom Herman coached the team to an 11-1 record, an American Athletic Conference title, and a trip to the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl against the Florida State Seminoles Dec. 31. Instead of bolting for a bigger program, he signed a five-year contract extension worth $14 million. It seems with the new contract he’s living a more lavish lifestyle, as he’ll be fitted with a diamond grill, making good on a promise he made to the team for winning the AAC title reports Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports.

Good on Herman for following through on his promise. His players must be absolutely psyched to win a title and see the promise come into fruition. I’m sure Wall will design him a grill that somehow looks ever more out of place than Ryan Lochte’s.
I wonder if the players will blast this song when Herman reveals his new mouthpiece (NSFW).
