There are rumors that WrestleMania may be coming to Detroit’s Ford Field, and Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh sounds pretty pumped.

“I went to school at the same time they were going to school and I consider myself friends with both the Steiner brothers,” Harbaugh said. “Had a chance to see them wrestle one time in Chicago. It was a big thrill to go to a match; I would go to another. Who doesn’t like a good wrestling match?”
He called back into the show a few moments after his interview ended, and had a great idea for the event.
“Why not the Big House?” he said. “Why not? 140,000 – I bet we could get in there for Wrestlemania. They’re trying to break the attendance record at Jerry Jones’ stadium in Dallas. (There’s) a great Canadian presence in wrestling. Why not Michigan and the Big House?”
While Harbaugh said he wouldn’t participate in a match, he’d gladly wave a towel or be a corner man. Although when asked by a producer if he’d participate as a referee in a Ric Flair vs Hulk Hogan matchup (a match that probably won’t ever end up happening again, in all honesty), Harbaugh told the show “I’m in.”
I’m ok with the idea as long as he’s wearing his legendary $8 Walmart khakis.
