Adam ‘Pac-Man’ Jones’ personal foul penalty in the last minute of the this past weekend’s playoff game against the Bengals put the Steelers in field goal range to hit the game winner, which Chris Boswell did. But Pac-Man wasn’t finished with his bad weekend.
First, he posted an incomprehensible rant on Instagram, which he later deleted. And, because he’s still mad, he then accused Antonio Brown of faking his head injury on the Dan Patrick Show Monday morning.
And then, because he’s still really mad and can’t think straight, he said Brown “deserved a Grammy” for his performance in “faking his injury”. He did previously offer Brown an Oscar before changing his mind.
“Antonio Brown was not hurt. I know he was faking it. Go back and look at the play. If you go back and slow-motion play, you tell me that Vontaze hit him in the head or did his shoulder pads barely touch him?”
Jones also said Brown winked at him after the game.
It’s fair to assume he thinks Brown is going to win the “Best New Artist” Grammy which has been won by legends like Esperanza Spalding, Starland Vocal Band and Marc Cohn. And in terms of winning an Oscar for faking an injury, nothing is ever going to top this:
You can add these latest indiscretions to all of the skeletons in Pacman’s closet, as evidenced by even Jerry Jones wanting to give up the ghost after one season with the Cowboys. If Jerry Jones can’t keep you around because of your off-the-field issues, then maybe something’s not right here.
Pacman is a free agent after this season and there’s a good chance he won’t be appearing in a summer practice near you.
