Chris Long , the Los Angeles — this feels weird — Rams defensive end has been on television a lot over the years. After all, he was the No. 2 overall pick of the 2008 NFL Draft and is the son of NFL Hall of Famer Howie Long.
But Wednesday marked the first time Long appeared on the news as “hopeful Powerball player”, and he was pretty excited about it.

Watch Chris Long and his fantastic disguise talk about he’s hoping to win Powerball and get a time share with his old lady in Myrtle Beach:
I would say @JOEL9ONE is #winning with his #Powerball appearance on @NBC29. Hope the “old lady” gets her timeshare! pic.twitter.com/gv9RBe1IUm — Matt Talhelm (@MattTalhelm) January 14, 2016
Unfortunately for Long and his old lady, the $1.5 billion jackpot is now gone.
The $1,586,400,000 #Powerball jackpot was shared between three tickets in #California, #Florida and #Tennessee: https://t.co/82D1qkfTFr
