Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban continues to be the best.
Subban has become known for his philanthropic attitude and generosity, donating $10 million to the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation in September. Since then, he’s continued to raise money and awareness for the hospital by signing jerseys and singing Christmas Carols.
Hey @JustinTrudeau! You have great hair, but can you sing Jingle Bells? #CanadaCarols pic.twitter.com/lEtLEwyaDq

The 26-year-old is at it again, as he partnered with Air Canada to surprise some of the kids at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. Kids and their parents were invited to wrap gifts, but instead they were greeted by Subban himself (aptly dressed in a onesie) who surprised them with a Christmas party where cookies, face-painting and magic were all on hand for the kids entertainment. Subban handed out gifts to kids, including $250 flight vouchers from Air Canada to the parents, and surprised one family with a $5000 cheque.
The secret is out! This year @AirCanada and I surprised some kids from the @HopitalChildren. Happy Holidays to all!https://t.co/kyU4kyzYVC

Is somebody cutting onions? Damn. Those kids look ecstatic to be at the event with Subban, which surely takes something away from the hardships they’ve experienced being sick, even if it’s just temporary.
The great thing about this is Subban genuinely cares about the kids he’s helping. This isn’t the first time he’s done something above and beyond for the Montreal Children’s Hospital, and I’d bet my life it won’t be the last.
Say what you will about Subban as a hockey player, but as a person, he’s extraordinary.
